The event took place at Gloucester House Hotel, Park Lane, London
on 2nd November 2017. Not the easiest of places to load and set up
but a truly lovely place to throw a large event
It was an award ceremony thrown by the Nursing Times for all
our hardworking NHS staff. Around 1000 persons were in attendance
Using a touch screen digital Karaoke system hire
with lighting effects.
We used a Karaoke laptop
package (not our Karaoke CD
package) with speakers, microphones, Desk Mixer and a TV for the singers.

We also had a projector pointing
at the back wall for the audience to watch and sing a along. Plus a full complement
of music to dance to, after all this was a Karaoke with DISCO! Our
DJ/Compere was myself with assistance from Naughty Nick!
The organisers said that all went very well and commented on
the good sound quality and the presentation style of our Surrey & London based DJ
(me!)who presented the evening. The clients were mainly nurses from all over England
and some had travelled far and certainly needed the huge amount of alcohol that
was evidently consumed!
