Karaoke DJ Hire Gloucester House Hotel London


The event took place at Gloucester House Hotel, Park Lane, London on 2nd November 2017. Not the easiest of places to load and set up but a truly lovely place to throw a large event
It was an award ceremony thrown by the Nursing Times for all our hardworking NHS staff. Around 1000 persons were in attendance
Using a touch screen digital Karaoke system hire with lighting effects. We used a Karaoke laptop package (not our Karaoke CD package) with speakers, microphones, Desk Mixer and a TV for the singers. Easy to use DIY Karaoke package! We also had a projector pointing at the back wall for the audience to watch and sing a along. Plus a full complement of music to dance to, after all this was a Karaoke with DISCO! Our DJ/Compere was myself with assistance from Naughty Nick!
The organisers said that all went very well and commented on the good sound quality and the presentation style of our Surrey & London based DJ (me!)who presented the evening. The clients were mainly nurses from all over England and some had travelled far and certainly needed the huge amount of alcohol that was evidently consumed!

CDJ 2000 Nexus EQUIPMENT HIRE
DJ EQUIPMENT HIRE for the Chemical Brothers!!
The Event took place at a private address in East Sussex in a fabulous marquee on the 2nd September 2017
It was for  a private party celebrating a birthday for one half of the Chemical brothers Tom Rowlands. He is an exceptionally nice modest guy and an absolute pleasure to work for. When we set up I managed to pull a back muscle and had to watch my poor 18 year old son trolley all our gear up a long garden with an incline to where the marquee was situated. It's hard work watching someone else work hard!
Disco equipment hire as follows:  2 x CDJ 2000 Nexus rental. – The following equipment was used as well. Namely Pioneer DJM 900 mixer with JBL PRX 635 Speakers with 2 dedicated 18in 800 watt sub bass bins. A 200 watt monitor speaker for the deejays as well. DJ equipment hire with delivery set up and collection. Hiring a  sound system  with lighting effects hire which included a smoke machine 2 x American DJ H20 effects and a 3d Laser on this occasion.

There was no uplighter Hire  at this event
Clients were very happy with the PA system supplied and the service provided. Collecting the gear gave us a challenge or two. Over a hundred vans and trucks all collecting their gear at the same time. Orderly wait but a long wait

The Event took place at Whitfield Mount on Blackheath Common Easter Friday 2016

Weather was lovely. Set up ready for a 10.30 a.m. start. This PA hire was for an Easter service including readings & reflections by about ten different church leaders of the various Christian denominations situated in  the locale.

This was a hire for an outside PA system including 2  x Battery Powered Speakers  No radio microphones were needed on this occasion. An AKG microphone on a simple microphome stand was all that was required  The Outdoor Speakers have the facility to play music through iPods and various microphones for musicians, announcements and presentations. The two speakers  we hired were ample for the 200 plus Christian followers that came to worship

Clients were very happy with the outside PA system supplied. We returned home after a short but eventful hire!

The Event took place in the foyer area of Harrow College on 16th March 2016

It was held by the company Gemini  IT who were holding a panel discussion on Apprenticeships  vs University options for young persons. Event ran for about 2 hours which included and involved a few speeches with Q & A.

It essentially was a  sound system (PA system) – comprising  of 2 Speakers & 5 x AKG microphones on a stands 8channel mixing desk with a sound Operator

With a Senheiser Lapel microphone for the host.

A big stage of 6 x 2 metres was provided with black curtaining and curved ends. It had to accommodate 7 tall stools

Clients were very happy with the sound quality and the ease of set up ( which was carried out by myself and son Alfie)  and the PA system with the portable stage supplied

The Event took place in the foyer area of Harrow College on 10th October 2015
It was held by the charity MIND who run and organise fund raising events for the unfortunatly mentally ill members of society. A high attendance was in store. Event ran for about 2 hours which included and involved a few speeches.
Nothing special then! Just so happened that the VIP guests were no less than The Duke & Duchess of Cambridge (William and Kate)! Young Joe who was operating the sound levels had the good fortune to shake their hands.(He hasn’t had a bath since!)
It essentially was a portable sound system (PA system) - Speakers & 1 x microphone on a stand.
A small stage of 2 x 2 metres was provided with black curtaining
Clients were very happy with the sound guy Joe (Son of Alan)  and the PA system with stage supplied

Pa Hire Table Microphoine Conference



The Event took place in one of the rooms at the illustrious One Cornhill in the City of London on the 17th September 2015
It was a panel discussion for the Realization Group for about 70 people.
A high attendance was in store. Event ran for about 3 hours included a powerpoint presentation.
It essentially was a table mic stand rental (we needed five) with AKG D5 microphones plus PA system including 3 x EV SX300 Speakers & 1 x radio microphones with stands.
Also it was a hire for a projector and pull up screen (not used on this occasion ).

Corporate Event -Festival London



EVENT HIRE LARGE
The Event took place at Tavistock Square (famous for its statue of Ghandi and other peace inspiring historical figures from the past) for The Mill company .The event aptly named ‘Millfest’ on the 20th August 2015
The corporate party for this London based company holding a mini festival for employees and clients alike. Activities, food, drink (lots of) Musicians and  disco and Games to keep everyone occupied. Esp. the drink which was all free
WE used a Portable stage hire ( only a small platform with black curtaining to give it a professional look) This was for the DJ in front of which a few musicians were performing. WE supplied the bands a PA system using the great sounding JBLPRX 635 ( FOH Speakers & desk mixer) with Mackie  stage monitors, the superb  AKG D5  microphones with stands.. Set up included making sure all cable runs were safe and tidy set in the tranquil setting of the superb looking Square, a thorough sound check and constant liaison with the organisers to ensure the positioning of the PA system. We also set up 4 EV speakers strategically positioned around the square so all present could hear the music. Set at different volumes to the main PA System.
The Guest DJ used the following equipment  2 x CDJ 2000’s rental. and Pioneer DJM mixer with JBL PRX 635 speakers. DJ equipment hire with delivery set up and collection. Hiring a  sound system with  lighting effects  on this occasion.
There was also a requirement for uplighter Hire at this event. Using a strong purple to illuminate the trees within the square to great effect
Clients were very happy with the PA system Lighting etc. supplied and the service provided
